Drive time from Krabi Town to Khlong Jiraj Pier in Krabi is approximately 20 minutes, 40 minutes from Krabi Airport or 3 hour from Phuket International Airport then it is a 3 hour passanger ferry trip to Koh Lanta Yai or Koh Lanta Noi Island.
Ferries depart at 10.00 hours and 13.30 hours. A car ferry service operates from Hua Hin Pier, Krabi to Lanta Noi Island for those wishing to travel to Lanta Yai they will have to take another ferry from Lanta Noi.
Ferries have no fixed departure times but normally operate between 06.00 hours and 18.00 hours. All ferry times are subject to weather conditions and short notice changes or cancellations.

We moved here from the bungalows at Narima. My wife likens bungalows to camping so having a proper hotel room was a nice upgrade and cost less! The pool is good and location is right on the best... We stayed in the Lanta Casuarina for 4 days in late Februrary and stayed in a Garden View Room. *** Construction Notice ***
The resort is now building the wing extension of their main building to increasing more rooms. The construction period is between May – October 2009 after that the construction will stop and will start again on May – October 2010.
In Low season, they will upgraded all guests to stay in free noise disturbance area and as guest could see that they construct only in low season, they will not allow any disturbance in High season. Before High Season start (November 01st) they will clear the construction site. Covered it with the wooded plates so it will seem like a big box and they will do the new gardening as well. Guests will not have any in convenience according to this construction.
The construction expected to finish before high season, November 2010.
