If you feel bored some evening, watching Thai boxing may change your mind. Many people may say it is rough or wild but for Thais it is a national sport.
There is one temporary boxing stadium at Pra-Ae (Long) Beach. They arrange Thai boxing matches almost every week and around ten fights each time. The time starts around 8 o'clock and continue until to late night, the heavy weight fighters towards the end. The fighting is real, even though the matches are not of the same class as in Bangkok.
There is also a Thai Boxing Training Camp on Koh Lanta.
