Experience Koh Lanta's favorite sights as others see them. Let our visual picture tour of Koh Lanta help you choose the best places to visit in Koh Lanta:
Music bars on the beach are the main feature of Koh Lanta with star gazing on the beaches and watching the squid fisherman boat's lights out to sea.
There are a few restaurant/bars at the harbor and most hotels on Koh Lanta. Ban Saladan has a few seafood restaurants on the sea near the ferry pier as well as a Swiss bakery.
This is how one of the visitors to Koh Lanta experienced the Koh Lanta nightlife and bar scene: "We spent most evenings at the Picasso Bar, along Klong Dao Beach. It was a simple wall-less hut with a thatched roof, the kind of place you could imagine Tom Cruise finding his Cocktail bar. Instead of Tom, 20-year-old Red and his friends, local Thais, spent their nights dancing to loud salsa music. Red played an incredible game of Connect 4 and challenged everyone who came to the bar; I never saw anyone beat him. On my last evening on Koh Lanta, I walked along the beach to the Picasso Bar at sunset. I sipped a cocktail in my deckchair, nibbling peanuts and watched as the flaming red sun sank beyond the horizon. It was a magical moment on one of Thailand's finest islands."
